Easy Super Bowl Party Ideas

Throwing a Super Bowl party? The only way to go is EASY. If it’s complicated, allow me to be blunt enough to say that you’re doing it wrong. A Super Bowl party is the epitome of relaxation… football fans lining the couches, a timeout for great (junk) food and some laughs at halftime. No need for being fussy!

Here are some easy Super Bowl party food ideas that will impress…

We want to take the guesswork out of the Super Bowl party for you, and introduce the four game day food groups with great ideas for making it simple. To make the cut, they had to be easy, tasty, and good lookin’. Extra points are given for individual servings of party food that football fans can easily transport to the couch without it landing on their favorite team jersey during that big play.

Alton Brown's Buffalo Wings

Buffalo Wings-

Will the Super Bowl actually go on if you don’t serve chicken wings? Just asking. Easy enough to bake in your oven to a crispy brown to avoid a huge oily mess. Easier yet to order them from your local wing joint.

How to make this into individual servings-

Place a dollop of bleu cheese or ranch dressing in the bottom of each clear plastic cup. Fill each cup with wings.

7 Layer Dip in Cups

7 layer dip-

This all-time favorite game day dip is easy to make and can be made in advance.

How to make this into individual servings-

Layer the ingredients into individual cups, and serve a huge bowl of chips on the side.

Super Bowl Meatball Skewers

Meatballs-

Men and meatballs. Need we say more? (Oh my, get your mind out of the gutter!)

How to make this into individual servings- (Stop now, really.)

Place a meatball, then a bit of onion and bell pepper, and another meatball onto a wooden lollipop stick. Heat this in the oven until it’s cooked through. Be sure to soak the wooden lollipop sticks in water so they won’t burn in the oven. Warm BBQ sauce makes a great dip for these. (next course!)

Veggies and Dip in cups

Veggies and dip-

Anyone can pull together a veggie platter, right? It’s even better served in cups. Put a dollop of dip in the bottom of each cup and fill them with veggies. They transport beautifully, and you can double dip all you like!

There you have it. The four balanced food groups of a Super Bowl party- wings, chips, meat, and dips (with a couple veggies on the side, shh).

You’re sure to score points with your guests with this game plan, and it’s so easy, you might even get to watch the Super Bowl… or at least the commercials.
