Halloween Cupcake Tower

This show-stopping Halloween cupcake tower is so easy to create.

It takes minutes to set up and will make a huge impact on your Halloween dessert table. Add height and drama, here’s how…

Halloween Cupcake Tower

You will need:

  • Cardboard cake circles in various sizes
  • Buckets… we used black glittered buckets, about 5-6 inches tall
  • Pins
  • Black marabou feather strand
  • Little Goblins cupcake wrappers
  • Cupcakes
  • Clementine jack-o-lanterns

How to create the Halloween Cupcake Tower

  1. Spray paint the cake circles black, and let dry.
  2. Pin the black marabou to the edge of each cake circle.
  3. Stack the cake circles, largest to smallest, with a bucket separating each. Use hot glue to secure them in place for more stability. We filled our buckets with dry beans to give it some weight and even more stability.
  4. Dress it up! Use cupcake wrappers to hold special Halloween treats of your choice.

Grouping the Halloween cupcake wrappers together by design makes for a striking display. We filled the standard size cupcake wrappers with cupcakes, and the mini cupcake wrappers with clementine jack-o-lanterns.

On the top, we added a decorative lantern filled with hard candies. Add your own style, and share your ideas with us! We love knowing how you dressed your own table for the party.

Halloween Dessert Table

Halloween Dessert Table

Halloween Dessert Table

This Halloween Dessert table is colorful and fun, but to keep it cohesive and coordinated, we used silver platters for all of the goodies.

The squares in the front keep orderly and organized treats in rows. The platters in the back are elevated to bring height to the table. In the center, our pièce de résistance is an adorable Halloween cupcake tower embellished with black marabou feathers.

The square platters along the front of the dessert table show off these incredibly simple Halloween treats. These Frankenstein pops are so easy to make.

Next, bundle two Oreo cookies together with some orange ribbon, and line them up neatly on the second platter.

The purple foil on dark chocolate Kisses goes perfectly on the table. Again, we lined them up in orderly rows.

For the last square platter, just wrap some candy bars in Halloween scrapbooking paper, secured with some glue dots, and embellish them with a tag.

On the left side of the table, we elevated a large silver bowl of gumballs in orange and purple.

On the right side… caramel apples. Microwave the caramels until they are just melted, and dip the apples. They fit beautifully in the Little Goblins Dessert Skirtz cupcake wrappers. The tiered dessert stand gives them extra height.

How to Use Your Cupcake Wrappers—Halloween Snack Idea for the Class

Halloween is six weeks away… can you believe it?! With all of the candy that passes through our kids hands on Halloween, it seems almost criminal to bring cupcakes to the class party. So what’s a Diva mom to do?

Apple slices in caramel dip dressed up with Little Goblins Dessert Skirtz cupcake wrappers

Apple slices with caramel dip… a little sweet, a lot healthful. The kids will love them. Make it easy to serve, and fun too, by dropping some clear plastic cups inside Little Goblins Dessert Skirtz and placing a dollop of caramel dip inside each one. Then, top with apple slices in each cup.

Hint: Before you place the apples in the cups, put a little lemon juice mixed with water in a gallon size zip top bag and put the apple slices inside. Give it a shake. The citric acid will keep the apples looking fresh for longer.

Line your sweet apples-n-dip cups on a tray and you’ll be Supermom this Halloween in the classroom. It’s a sweetly spooky Halloween snack idea that’s a favorite for any age kids.
